MEASURES TO AVOID THE SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

It still remains vital that we all take steps to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) to protect my family, my customers families and of course our NHS.

Customer Interaction:
1. As of Monday 17th July, we will now be carrying out most work, providing either you or any of the occupants in your home are not:
  • Shielding*
  • Self-isolating*
  • Displaying any COVID 19 symptoms
  • Have been diagnosed positive for COVID 19
*if the work is safety related, we may still be able to attend after a discussion about additional protective measures.

2. I continue to restrict my visits to one Household per day to limit to risk spreading the virus.
3. I ask that you and your household maintain a 2m distance from me wherever possible.
4. If I show symptoms, no matter how minor, I will not travel to your home, and will endeavour to rearrange the visit as soon as possible.
5. I ask that you inform me if the situation regarding COVID 19 changes in your home at any time prior to a visit for a quote or to carry out any work.

Working Procedures:
• Upon arrival, I will not shake hands with you or any other occupant.
• I will maintain a 2m distance from anyone in your household where possible.
• I will wash or sanitize my hands before, during and after the work and may wear disposable gloves and face mask. If I use your washing facilities I will use my own hand towels.
• I will take away all protective wear and used cleaning material with me.
• I will carefully wipe down my tools and  work area before and after the work.

Customer Requirements:
• I ask that you open doors and if possible ventilate the work room (e.g. open windows)
• I ask that you and all other occupants stay in another room away from the work area while the work is in progress if possible.
• Please do not offer any hospitality (tea, coffee etc.)

If I feel at risk at any point, I will inform you and undertake a personal risk assessment which may mean I leave your premises and rearrange the visit for a future date.

Please note we can only accept bank transfers as payment at this time.
